La Cruz de Merito Deportivo 1956 

1952-54 All-Conference in Basketball
1954 – Named Outstanding Belen Athlete as a Sophomore.
1st place in Discus, Shot Put, and 50 Meters.
1955 – 1st place in Discus and Shot Put, and member of the 1st place 4x100 Meter Relay team.
1956 – 1st place in Shot-put and member of the 1st place 4x100 Meter Relay team. Runner-up in Discus at the Junior Nationals.

Post Graduation

Basketball champion of the Inter Social Club in Cuba.
Softball Champions of the Industrial League in Jacksonville.  That same year they competed in the Nationals held in North Carolina.

Professional and Personal:

1960 – Graduated from La Universidad de Villanueva with a degree in Accounting.
Former Vice President of Atlantic Bank in Jacksonville, FL.
Member of the Catholic Office of Immigrant Assistance in Jacksonville, FLorida

He lives with his wife Maria and has four children, Edward, Tony, Maria Elena and Javier.
