Athlete of the Year in 1972
1972 - 5 sport Varsity Letterman (earned 8 total in High School)
He was a running Back, Linebacker and conerback in Football.  Played guard in basketball.  He was the thirdbaseman in baseball.  
Ran the mile and two mile in track and also ran cross country.
1972- Former Basketball Freethrow record holder (75%)
1971- scored the  winning Touchdown  against Florida Christian giving belen it’s first football victory ever 8-6.
1971 - All City, All Conference, and Football MVP
1970 - All Conference and Cross Country MVP
1970 - 1st Athlete in school history to qualify for state as an individual.  Finished 1st in the Cross Country district meet and finished 7th in State.
1969 - MVP - Jr. Varisty Basketball
Part of the 1970 Cross Country district Championship team.  
First Belen Athlete to be offered a college scholarship for football (Wabash College)
Professional and Personal:
1976 - Graduated from University of Miami with a degree Chemistry/Biology
1980 – Graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Medicine
Appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Miami’s Department of Orthopedic Rehabilitation Sports Medicine 
Division at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Appointed Orthopedic Consultant at the University of Virginia
Attending Staff at 5 South Florida Hospitals
Named Team Physician for the US Olympic and National Soccer Teams, United States Soccer Federation, 
Dept. of Athletics of FIU, Miami-Dade South Campus, and St. Thomas University, 
as well as a Dozen South Florida High School, including Belen Jesuit Preparatory School.
He lives with his wife Maria and has 4 children Vianca, Alexis, Victoria and Jorge.
